We want to enable our host fair earnings without paying any fee to publish and book through our platform. The host receives payment for each booking in the same amount they set when adding and editing their listing. When you receive the booking request, you will be able to learn more about your potential guest by clicking their public profile from the booking request itself. What are the cancellation policies?
Currently, we are offering two cancellation policies you can choose from: If your guest cancels the booking more than 7 days before scheduled check-in, they get a 100% refund of the total booking price. If your guest cancels the booking less than 7 days before their scheduled check-in, they get a 50% refund of the host's service price, and the host receives another 50% of their price. Fairbnb.coop is the platform that connects fair guests with fair hosts. We believe that getting to know each other can be of mutual benefit. Thus we recommend check-in in person. But, considering the fast-paced environment that we live in and sometimes the number of complications if we want to have the host present at the guest's check-in, the contactless check-in will work well, too! Why?
You added a listing, don't see it published on the platform, and wonder why that is so. There might be several reasons for that. The most common one is that there are no local node ambassadors or national coordinators for your location, meaning there are no projects to support. As Fairbnb.coop re-distributes half of its revenue to the local or national projects, we cannot publish the listings without those.That doesn't mean that you cannot add your listing and leave it in the draft.
