How do I calculate taxes?

To calculate Tourist tax and decide which option out of three we offer to choose from is valid in your case, you should be familiar with the local/regional/national regulations that are in force in your area. If you are not, or you don't know where to start from, you can always contact your local node ambassador for assistance.

When adding or editing your listing, you should

Go to Accommodation details
Scroll down to Local Info
Choose No tourist tax, if the local/regional/national legislation does not require tourists to pay tourist taxes, or
Choose Tourist tax included in the fee, if yours set price consists of the tax price, or
Choose Tourist tax to pay to your host during the stay, if you require the tourist tax to be directly paid to you to upon the guest's arrival

If you choose Tourist tax to pay to your host during the stay, in the box Tax calculation enter the tourist tax amount to be paid to you.

Regarding VAT, Income, or any other taxes, you should all calculate them in the price of the stay.
